PHARMAC is seeking three new people for its Consumer Advisory Committee.
The Committee is a statutory committee providing PHARMAC with input from a consumer or patient point of view. The committee can have up to nine members and is currently chaired by Kate Russell, who is one of the members coming to the end of their term.
Chief Executive Steffan Crausaz says PHARMAC is seeking applications from people with experience in representing health consumer interests, ideally at a national level.
“This could be something like the health of older people, people with mental health or disability issues, or women’s health,” he says.
“The important thing is that people can demonstrate experience in representing the interests of consumers in the health sector.”
Applications are being sought until 13 March.
