Oxycodone controlled-release 20 mg tabs: Supply issue resolved
There was a supply issue affecting oxycodone controlled-release 20 mg tablets (Pharmacode 2559730).
5 July 2024 update
Stock has arrived. The supplier started distributing orders to wholesalers from 2 July. It may still take another week or two to reach pharmacies.
Affected product
Due to technical issues relating to importing controlled drugs, the supplier is out of stock of Oxycodone Sandoz Controlled release 20 mg tablets Pharmacode: 2559730. We expect that wholesalers and pharmacies would still have two to three weeks of stock.
Other strengths and presentations are not affected. There is a separate issue affecting oxycodone immediate release capsules.

Use two x 10 mg tablets instead
People can use two x 10 mg tablets to get the same benefit as one 20 mg tablet. There is enough stock of the 10 mg tablets to support this use.
Resupplied
The supplier has received stock and began distributing it to wholesalers from 2 July. It may take another week or two before it reaches pharmacies.
