Due to shipping delays, the supplier is out of stock of Martindale magnesium sulphate injections (Pharmacode 2406438).

Although a 10 ml injection is listed, it is not available and is not contracted.

Max Health has a limited amount of 2 mmol per ml, 5 ml ampoules available.
Biomed has a magnesium sulphate 100 mg per ml, 50 ml and 250 ml bags available.
Biomed also has 2 mmol per ml, 20 ml ampoules available which was compounded in-house for use in TPN.
ProPharma has limited supply of the magnesium sulfate inj 2 mmol per ml, 5 ml ampoule (Martindale, Pharmacode 2406438) it can sell to hospitals.

Price and Pharmacodes of the first three options are not currently available.

Early in the week beginning 28 April 2025, CDC will have limited stock of magnesium sulfate inj 2 mmol per ml, 5 ml ampoule (Pfizer).

The supplier advises that stock will likely be saleable to hospitals by Friday 2 May 2025.
