Attending Ngā Kaitiaki o Te Puna Rongoā o Aotearoa annual tauira hui

Update Rērere Kōrero

In September, Director of Equity and Engagement, Dr Nicola Ngawati and I (Trevor Simpson) attended Ngā Kaitiaki o Te Puna Rongoā o Aotearoa – The Māori Pharmacists’ Association Incorporated (MPA) annual tauira (student) hui at Waipapa marae in Tamaki Maka

“This was a great opportunity for our kaimahi to share employment and scholarship opportunities with Māori pharmacy students from Auckland and Otago Universities,” Says Dr Ngawati.

“We had some great korero with ngā tauira on their future plans after study. We want to give a big thank you to Ngā Kaitiaki o Te Puna Rongoā o Aotearoa for having us.”

We recently launched a new pamphlet on careers for pharmacists at Te Pātaka Whaioranga.

This story is part of the Rērere Kōrero

The Rērere Kōrero will keep you informed on how Te Pātaka Whaioranga – Pharmac is supporting whānau Māori to achieve their best health and wellbeing through access to medicines and medical devices.
