People have been able to access funded EpiPens since 1 February 2023.
Accessing funded EpiPens
If you've had severe allergic reaction, known as anaphylaxis, talk to your main health care provider. If you qualify, they can write you a prescription for two EpiPens.
Using an EpiPen
You can register on the supplier's website. Through this platform, you can access:
- multilanguage "how to use" videos
- request a free EpiKit pack
- register for free expiry reminders
- numerous other resources
How many EpiPens can I have?
Your prescriber can write a prescription for up to two pens. You will need a new prescription to replace the pens before the expire or if you use one.
