Overview of the annual tender process
PHARMAC’s annual tender is an open procurement process, which offers volume gains for suppliers and reduces the requirement of brand promotion and associated costs.
Each year, between 400 and 600 pharmaceutical line items are included in the tender, which offers up to three years of Sole Subsidised Supply and/or Hospital Supply Status.
We have produced an outline of the tender process stages below, which includes information on how to take part in the process.
