The decision criteria are central to PHARMAC achieving its objective of obtaining the best health outcomes that are reasonably achievable from within the budget provided. The criteria directly affect the pharmaceutical treatments that are available for public subsidy.

Decision criteria consultation - background and further information
Consultation event – 15 April
PHARMAC is inviting stakeholders to a half day consultation event on Wednesday 15 April. The event will be an opportunity for stakeholders to learn more about the detail of the change proposal, ask questions of PHARMAC, discuss and provide their views. All feedback received at this event will be taken into account when we are making our decision.
