Venlafaxine (Enlafax XR) all strengths : Dispensing change

Monthly dispensing from 1 January 2025

To avoid a possible supply issue, Pharmac is removing "all-at-once" (stat) dispensing from all strengths of venlafaxine (Enlafax XR). There has been a brief delay to the next shipment of this product. By moving to monthly dispensing, we can make the current supply go further and make sure people can continue to access this medicine..

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We took this action to avoid a larger supply issue. 

No out of stock expected

The supplier is flying in extra stock to ensure people can continue to access this medicine.

We are expecting stock to return to normal by early March 2025.
