REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

Thank you for your request dated 25 January 2021 under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) for information relating to Canterbury distribution/dispensing data for the influenza vaccine, antidepressants and anxiety treatments.

Following our responses issued to you 16 October 2020 and 13 November 2020, you wrote:

I am after updated numbers for 2020 regarding:

The total number of influenza doses distributed for Canterbury

Total number of antidepressants prescriptions for Canterbury – including all antidepressants listed in the NZ Pharmaceutical Schedule

Total number of prescriptions for the treatment of anxiety for Canterbury – including all anxiolytics listed in the New Zealand Pharmaceutical Schedule.

Please note that while we do not currently hold data up to 31 December 2020, we have decided to grant your request and will make the requested data available to you without undue delay when it becomes available. You should receive the requested data from us no later than 12 March 2021.
