- The data provided represents quantities dispensed in the community or administered to patients in hospitals in the specified periods, based on pharmacy claims.
- The data provided may include "wastage" - that is, part portions of vials or packs which cannot be used for or dispensed to patients, but for which the Schedule rules allow pharmacies to claim funding for.
- The data is provided per financial year (FYR) ending 30 June. PHARMAC’s financial year runs from 1 July to 30 June.
