Originally listed with a 30-day expiry date
When Pharmac originally listed the product, in October 2020 there was a 30-day expiry date after opening the bottle. This created some concern around the amount of product that would need to be disposed of.
In February 2021, Medsafe extended the expiry date to 90 days and Pharmac applied wastage rules to the listing. Now that no expiry date applies, Pharmac is reviewing whether wastage will continue to apply.
