Azithromycin tab 250 mg: Discontinuation
The supply of azithromycin 250 mg tablets has been discontinued. It will be delisted once supplies run out.
25 May 2022 update
The Apotex 250 mg tablet has been relisted for 1 June 2022 to use up the remaining stocks in the supply chain.
Why are we doing this?
Apotex is discontinuing the supply of azithromycin 250 mg tablets. We have secured an alternative brand of the 500 mg strength of azithromycin, which will remain available.
We know that there is still a need for a 250 mg tablet and we're trying to find a supplier.
